Well this last weekend at Audley End was terrific.

Thousands and thousands of people over a fabulously sunny bank holiday weekend. There were close to seven thousand visitors and I swear that I helped over six and a half thousand of them on stilts!
Last week, gentle readers, was a bumper blog week! An enormous number of people logged on to read the drivel I write. GET A LIFE!!!! I have also gone international. Some really good friends of mine, Hanneke and Arie, wrote a lovely mail about the blog. They live in Holland and we work with them each year at the fabulous Robin Hood Festival. Here they are with John Sargeant for a BBC travel programme.
They are, of course, the heart of "The Crazy Dutch Regulars" They are called this because they are crazy, they are Dutch and they're regular. Simples!
Thay also have two supremely talented children, Annique and Arjen. Now I'm a bit of a storyteller. No really, I am, but I tell my stories in my native language. Arjen tells stories brilliantly and hold s an audience whilst using his second language. I find that impressive.
I had another Toastmaster enquiry today for Stapleford. Don't you just hate it when you look at your calendar a year hence and there is a lot of white; not too many dates blanked off, and then a booking comes along for a date already taken. That sucks!!!
The new website with all its whistles and bells has been up and running for a few weeks now. I'm not sure how well it is doing because I cannot get a straightforward, uncomplicated statistic scheme attached to it. However if any of you dear readers could take a look at: www.classinacoat.co.uk and give me any feedback I would be very grateful.
My thanks in anticipation.
Live Long and be Toastmastered.
