Frisby has been in the news big time this week.
Well, it's been on Jamie Oliver's programme!

He came down our road to see the magnificent, nay municifent Margaret Cooper who eats flowers. I know this woman!!!!!!
Age is a terrible thing.
While the mass media are obsessed with disaster, tragedy, chaos and woe how one longs to be able to forget all about it. I mean to say, I can't do anything about the Eurozone crisis, wars everywhere, climate change and the price of importing string beans from Africa and mopeds from China.
Worry only makes me....................worried.
Another feature in the very same Jamie Oliver programme was the preparation of a cricket tea at Burghley Park Cricket Club in Stamford. I worked there at a wedding earlier this year. I have to say it is one of the most delightful cricket pavilions I have ever seen.
Things quite quiet on the Toastmaster front at the moment although there are a couple of jobs coming up. I have the Lighthouse Club Christmas Lunch in a couple of Friday's time, and a wedding at the lovely Stapleford the following day.
What other snippets are there to report? The wedding Fayre at Rushcliffe last week was OK, I think and the party in Oxford was a hoot!
Also, I have resumed my fight with Facebook - it does seem to be the way to go. I do not find it easy. Anyway, if any of you (besides Gerry, who is the only person I know who reads this rubbish), can like my "Wedding Toastmaster" page that would be great.
Big party tomorrow night at Brooksby.
It's the fabulous Fiona's 50th bash. Should be a goody!
